This cap kit for the Game Gear contains all parts necessary to replace the electrolytic capacitors of any VA0 or VA1 model Game Gear. This kit covers both 1-ASIC and 2-ASIC revisions. Please open your Game Gear to determine the correct cap kit - product photo is not indicative of revision. All caps are included for the: Main PCB Sound PCB Power PCB This kit replaces the obsolete main board surface mount with radial lead capacitors. New surface-mount style caps are included for the audio & main boards where originally equipped. If you have a really early Japanese Game Gear with sound PCB 837-7400-01 please let us know and we will send caps that better fit your unusual sound PCB. Installation Notes: Some replacement caps may have higher voltage ratings than the original parts (e.g. 100uF 10v instead of 100uF 6.3v) For easier installation of SMD-type Audio PCB caps with a soldering iron, the plastic spacer on the bottom of the cap can be clipped off, giving extra space to fit the
