Low Leaf Basket 12 inches

This 12" Low Leaf Basket is the piece you slide into the center of the table and suddenly everything looks pulled together. Anne McCauley gathers wild honeysuckle vine in Virginia and weaves it into a low, round form with a gently banded rim and two sculpted leaves resting along one edge. The base is a tight starburst of vine; the sides open into an airy lattice that keeps the whole basket feeling light and modern. At around twelve inches across and just a few inches high, it’s a natural for fruit on the kitchen island, mail on the entry table, or folded napkins on a buffet. It’s wide enough to be useful, low enough to never block a conversation, and pretty enough to leave out even when it’s empty.
