I make the Sea Clay & Kelp Bar Soap because, while kelp is rumored to have numerous benefits for the skin, it's an obvious choice for Southern Resident Soapery. I'm really pleased with how it's come out! I'll be honest - the first couple rounds were too strong smelling - not in a lovely way - it had a bit of a low-tide smell and that is not what we're all going for! The formula, in the end is nice, I promise. It's got a fresh scent like light white florals, ozone, and salt. I enjoy the shades of green I can achieve with different types and amounts of kelp powder. Sea clay is pretty mineral-rich and kelp nutrient-dense so the refreshing lather you suds up in the shower is nice to leave on for as long as you like before you rinse off!
