First introduced in the early 1970’s, our Original Hot Sauce has been the perfect complement to our Texas BBQ. From Grandma Bracewell’s own recipe, it is a vinegar-based cayenne pepper sauce with a fair amount of heat. It was originally bottled by Southside in reclaimed liquor bottles gathered from some of our neighbor businesses (bars) downtown on Central Ave. in Elgin, TX. We used to place a liter size whiskey bottle (32 oz.) on every table here at Southside… and we still do. This 18 oz. bottle of hot sauce is unlike any hot sauce bottle you’ve ever come across.
