Bronze Amaranth

Tall upright plant with green leaves and bronze-chestnut colored plumes. Brings interesting texture and color to flower arrangements. The foliage is edible and if left to fully mature, the abundant seeds can be used as a nutritious alternative grain. Minimum of 1 g (about 1400 seeds) per packet. Young leaves can be harvested and eaten as greens, and the seeds heads can be toasted and eaten as a grain. This prolific vegetable can also be a gorgeous addition to cut flower arrangements.
