Summer Savory

One of the main components of the famous French blend, Herbes de Provence, summer savory (Satureja hortensis) has a delicate, peppery flavor. Fresh or dried, summer savory adds a kick to beans, sausage, stews, and soups. Hardy annual grows 18" with long thin green leaves that can be harvested as needed.
