Ipomoea batatas Orange skin and deep orange flesh when cooked. Great traditional Southern sweet potato variety with a rich sweetness that has become a family favorite in more than a few households. Good yields, fairly uniform tubers, and an average keeper.These slips are grown locally by the Appalachian Seed Growers Collective. Thomas, a member of the collective, has trialed 40 different varieties over ten years, and this sweet potato stands out as his best orange variety for both growing and taste.
