Onion Seeds - White Grano

Allium cepa A classic white salad onion. Low pungency and good flavor. Large bulbs grow up to one pound and are pink root resistant. Short to moderate storage period. Short Day. Start seeds indoors eight to ten weeks before your last frost. Soil temperatures between 70 and 75° F will help with germination. They are ready to transplant when they reach six inches in height. Prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, onions will need at least an inch of water per week. Pay close attention to the days to harvest information. Biennial for seed.
