The desk top and drawer faces have been stripped, sanded, and refinished. The rest of the cabinet has been cleaned and polished. The brass hardware has been cleaned and polished. The drawers have recently been relined. All joints have been inspected and tightened as needed. There are some shallow scratches, minor scuffs, and some areas of discoloration from years of use (see photos for examples). The drawers all slide smoothly and the drawer runners have been rewaxed.
