Jeanette was born & raised a southern California girl. She had a rough childhood. Both of her parents were alcoholics. To flee the horrors of growing up with parents that were in bondage to substance abuse, she fled at 19 years old to be married to a man who also was a slave to substance abuse, & would begin to abuse her too. Though their marriage brought her the blessing of a son named Micah; the years of drugs, alcohol & abuse turned the man who was sworn to protect her into a man she dreaded. A messy divorce left Jeanette questioning how her life turned out so different than she imagined. BUT GOD, was writing a beautiful story & had a wonderful future in store for this broken, single mother. It was on a short visit to Maine where she met a fierce, gospel preaching man of GOD n
