Myca grew up in the green, lush Pacific Northwest on an island called Whidbey, off the coast of Washington State. She had a wonderful childhood full of beautiful memories. Her mother, however, battled addiction & ultimately ended up moving to Maine to seek freedom from it. It was there she gave her life to Christ. Back in Washington, Myca dove head first into the party scene, experimenting with drugs & alcohol. Ultimately, she too became enslaved to sin, abusing drugs & alcohol while in a relationship with a man who abused her. BUT GOD used the pain of her mother's addiction to pave the way so Myca would know exactly where to turn to seek help when she finally was ready.
