1-piece plastic 9 1/8" frame with heavy wax.  Black/Brood or Green/Drone frames Made in the USA Black Brood foundation makes it easier to see eggs and brood, so is preferred by beekeepers for the brood boxes.  Can also be used for honey production. Green Drone foundation is used for encouraging drone production which is an integral part of chemical free mite control.  It is also great for honey production since it encourages the workers to draw larger cells. The bees seem to like these frames.  We only offer frames with heavy wax.  They have been dipped at least twice.  This helps the bee to get started drawing out frames.
