Everyone has their own way of making rice, here is Dunar's way:  STOVE TOP COOKING: measure 1 cup of rice, and rinse 1 to 2 times thoroughly. Place 1 cup of rice and 2-3 cups of water in the saucepan. Add salt to taste. Bring to a vigorous boil. Stir, reduce heat to medium, and let simmer covered
