Very scarce little work of classic nursery rhymes whimsically retold, and illustrated with rather bizarre super-cranial ink drawings reminiscent of other satirical cartoons of the same period. Untraced in the trade or auction. Anonymous. Nursery Rhymes, with Funny Pictures. London. T. Nelson and Sons. 1868. 32pp. A good copy, bound in cloth, with rear gutter exposed and tender, but generally solid. Pages are generally bright, with light foxing, and an old die cut laid to rfep with attending adhesive stain.
