Each piece is handcrafted from 100% wool using a technique called dry needle felting—a process that transforms unspun wool into sculpted animals. The craft relies on a specialized felting needle with tiny barbs along its shaft. As the needle is repeatedly inserted into the wool, these barbs catch and entangle the fibers, gradually binding them together to form a solid shape.
