Organic Yellow Split Pea

Yellow Split Peas start out as whole round peas. After they are harvested and dried, the skin is removed and they are split at the natural spot in the cotyledon. This increases their surface area resulting in quicker cooking.  Yellow Split Peas are high in protein and low in fat. It is extremely high in fiber, containing about 26 grams of fiber per 100 gram of dried peas.
