7 Day Cone 10 SINGLE FIRE WORKSHOP October 19, 2025

A seven day cone 10, single fire workshop, consists of four days of throwing and trimming functional sized work. On the fourth day we glaze, load and light the kiln, then fire it off on the fifth day. A quick cool and unload on the sixth day ends with a discussion of the work as well as an in depth discussion on glazes and materials. After the kiln is loaded and while it is firing and cooling we will throw larger forms including sectionals.  The focus of the workshop is about the process of how I make my single fired work from start to finish. This workshop takes place during the cooling week of the October Big Magic Anagama firing. Workshop Fee includes 50 pounds of clay with more available to purchase at .75 per pound.
