Bogdan Model 300 Salmon Reel

A very nice Bogdan 300 Salmon reel, one of the most desirable spey reels ever made. It doesn't get any better than this for larger salmon or steelhead rivers. This is the second largest model in the Bogdan lineup, with a 3.75" diameter and 1.375" spool width. Built to fish #10 lines it holds 200 yards of 20 lb backing and weighs 12.5 ounces. Set up for RHW. This one is in excellent, lightly used condition, with some mounting marks on the foot, some very light rim rash on the frame edges, and a few very minor rubbings here on the backplate. Overall the reel is very clean. Clear anodized silver frame with black sideplates, and a silver handle, foot, oil port over, drag adjustment housing, poacher's knob and Bogdan nameplate. This reel has the renowned Bogdan double brake drag design that will stop any salmon you are lucky enough to get into, as well as a 2:1 multiplier retrieve.
