The Private Reserve Premium Boost is based on the Secret Chord Deluxe MosFET Boost.  The main differences are instead of using the stock MosFETs it uses a quad of high Vgs matched J310 JFETs.  This results in a little more output but with less noise.  This is a known electronic benefit to parallel JFETs.  It took sorting and rejecting 500 JFETs to find this matched quad.  If you are a player looking for a neutral yet chunky low-gain boost with very high headroom, then the Private Reserve Premium Boost is an excellent solution.
