GUATEMALA COBÁN SAN LORENZO   1500 MASL / FULLY WASHED / MIXED VARIETAL In the 1960s Luis Valdés I purchased a 10.5 hectare plot of land that would become a farm known as Santa Isabel. Valdés’ son, Luis Valdés II, would take over the management of Santa Isabel in the 1980s and would purchase the neighboring land. The focus of this land would be the cultivation of coffee and the preservation of the natural forest. Over 60 years later, the management of the farms is now on Luis “Wicho” Valdés III. The hard work and dedication of generational coffee farming has led us to one of the best Guatemalan coffees we have ever had the pleasure of offering.
