Lawrence Weiner: Displacement

Displacement is a superbly designed artist's book recording Weiner's 1992 show at the Dia Center for the Arts in New York--one of his greatest exhibitions, remembered fondly to this day. It is constituted primarily of Weiner's classic typographic settings, carefully composed for the page, with a sequence of installation shots and a brief commentary on the book and exhibition by Gary Garrels. The interdependence between book and exhibition, which is a motif of Weiner's career, here finds concise expression in a volume that is a treat to move through.   Very good condition, no signs of visible damage
