PMC Flex Thermocouple replacement for EL-51A Temperature Sensing Unit Thermocouple Replacement:NOTE! The Thermocouple is assembled into theConnector Body with a Ferrule and Nut. Onceinserted into the Body and the Nut is tightened, theFerrule locks to the Thermocouple and does notallow it to be relocated or moved. The location ofthe Thermocouple is very important and must bedone correctly before tightening the Nut.1. Unscrew the Nut that holds the defective Thermocoupleand remove from the Body. Disconnect Thermocouplewiring located under the Top Cover of the Heater. RemoveBody and discard.2. Install Heating Element and Spring if also removed.3. Install Connector Body into Heater using an open-endwrench and tighten to prevent leakage. Teflon Tape orappropriate Thread Sealant should be used.4. Slide the Nut and the Ferrule over the Thermocoupleand insert this assembly into the Connector Bodyuntil it comes into positive physical contact with theHeating Rod. Make sure the Spring does not pr
