The mirror is a 3″ round, convex glass mirror with a wide field of view. The mirror is adjustable to any viewing angle. Cut out the end of, or remove, the plugin the end of the left handlebar grip. To cut,use a fairly sharp knife and poke throughthe end of the handlebar grip then cutaround the inside of the handlebar. If youlive in a country where you drive onthe left side of the road, cut a hole inthe end of the right grip. 2. The Mirrycle comes with two sizes ofwedge. Use the larger of the two wedgesunless it won’t fit inside your handlebar.Assemble the appropriate wedge to the mirrorbase using the long bolt and the barrelnut. Put the long bolt through the mirrorbase and wedge and then screw it into thebarrel nut. Pull the wedge onto the barrelnut to secure it. 3. Place the mirror base in the end ofyour handlebar. Push it in so it is snug upagainst the end of the handlebar grip.Position the mirror base so that thetop of it tilts far forward (about halfwaybetween straight up and parallelto the ground. If you have bar ends,position the mirror base so that thetop tilts further down and out of theway of the bar end. Use the hex wrenchthat is included to tighten the bolt untilthe mirror base is secure in the end of thehandlebar. 4. Attach the mirror arm to the mirror base.Put three small washers on a cap screw andinsert it into the hole in the elbow end of themirror arm. Now put a big washer on thecap screw and screw it into the mirror baseand tighten it using the hex wrench. Thecap screws are an extremely tight fitwhen screwed into the brass inserts.Keep the hex wrench pushed into thehead of the cap screw while turning it.Don’t worry about breaking any of theparts. 5. Attach the mirror holder to the mirrorarm. Put one small washer on a cap screwand insert it into the countersunk hole in themirror holder bracket. Put a big washer onthe cap screw and screw it into the mirrorarm and tighten it using the hex wrenchincluded. As stated in #4 above, thecap screw fit into the brass insert isextremely tight. 6. Take a ride on your bike on a quiet streetand adjust the mirror to get a good idea ofwhat your view will be.
