The second vintage of the red counterpart to the Didacus Chardonnay impressively reflects the vision of the Planeta family: elegance and tradition, family and future. This 100% Cabernet Franc comes from vines over 20 years old that were still planted by Diego Planeta, and it is simply stunning, delicious and unforgettable.  Dark, deep and intense, with arching blue florals giving way to masses of currants, plums and licorice. Silky with a dense wave of mineral-tinged black fruits carried across a core of motivating acidity that lifts the expression nicely.
