Bead & Sequin Performer's Top, XXS-XS

Heavily embellished performance top, covered in meticulously hand sewn beads and sequins. Inside tag reads “O’Brien," indicating the name of the dancer that once owned and wore this piece. Sadly I do not have any further information about Miss O'Brein, or what kind of performance this was a part of! Based on construction and hardware, this piece is most likely from the 1940's-50's. This top was homemade, and shows signs of wear and age. There are a few patches of missing beading, some fraying, and other flaws. Despite wear and tear, this top is quite sturdy and still has a lot of life left! See product images for details. Size XXS-XS. 15” pit to pit, 24” waist, 23” long. 1940’s-50’s.
