Product Information The pillow is finished with our flax linen backing and closed by an exposed zipper with a gold pull. The cushion is stuffed with an oversized down insert. Dimensions: 26" W x 26" H Provenance This pillow is made from fabric inspired by our vintage Cactus Silk textiles, created by Berber people, indigenous to North Africa. Berber textiles can be identified by region and tribe, detailed with stripes and symbols. The small symbols seen here mimic traditional tattoos that adorn Berber women. The symbols have many meanings, such as longevity, fertility, protection against the evil eye, cures for illnesses, tribal association, and marital status. This textile is woven with silk made from the Sabra Cactus.
