Golden SoFlat Matte Acrylics, Modern Mixing Set

Our Modern Mixing Set of Golden SoFlat Matte Acrylic includes six 2 oz. jars that mix to make almost any color you need. We've used a split-primary color system to define the range: Quinacridone Magenta (cool) and Pyrrole Red (warm), Cadmium Primrose (cool) and Transparent Yellow Deep (warm), and Cobalt Teal (cool) and Cobalt Blue (warm). Mix any two split-primary colors to get the classic middle primary color, and mix any two adjacent colors (like Cad. Primrose and Cobalt Teal or Cobalt Blue & Quin. Magenta) for intense secondary colors. Because of the composition of SoFlat, this set tends toward deeper mixed colors and high opacity; for transparent, lighter colors, you may wish to consider oil paints or traditional glossy acrylics instead.
