24" X 18" Mixed Media Canvas Painting Selected Artist for the Indianapolis Zoo Naturally Inspired Paint Out 2023 My inspiration to paint both she-cheetahs is from their distinctive tear-drop facial markings, beautifully spotted coats, and unfortunately the possible threat of extinction. I lovingly worked on this piece "Wild Ones" by adding texture and color with heavy gel, brushes, and pallet knives. As well as spray paint, paper, acrylic, and finished with a protective layer of varnish.
