1134 - Women's Oxford Baggy Denim - Raw Indigo
With a stylistic focus that zooms in on the era where denim transitioned from "workwear" to a casual fabric, Fullcount were the first brand to start making their denim from hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, which is famous for its long staple length (granting it both greater softness and durability than short staple cottons). The 1134 is a wide leg "baggy" fit denim, cut with a high rise and darted knees for added shape and movement. It takes inspiration from Oxford University student fashion during the 1920s, when wide-legged, oversized pants were known as "Oxford Bags", and is part of where the term "baggy" comes from when describing large clothes. They're made from Fullcount's flagship denim, a 13.75oz, 100% Zimbabwean cotton selvedge denim, produced in Japan. An extremely comfortable medium weight, these are suitable for wear almost year-round. An unsanforized fabric, Fullcount have given the garment a wash to remove the initial shrinkage and indigo loss from the denim and softening i
