1930s Wool Melton Duce Coat - Midnight Black

From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations. The Duce Coat is inspired by vintage car coats from around the time of the Ford Model B, back when you needed to be wearing a specific type of jacket to drive. With a fairly dense button placket, it's got a standard jacket collar and an angled hem, with two hand pockets for storage and a half-belted back. The multi-panel design is comfortably tailored, resulting in a garment that fits well but can still be layered under without becoming restrictive.
