From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations. The source of inspiration for this jacket is a mysterious fictional doctor (or perhaps a snake-oil salesman of some kind) somewhere in the old American frontier. Though it wouldn't look out of place on a villain from Hollywood's golden age, today, it's an exceptional contemporary piece of outerwear with some immaculately embroidered details.
