A bit higher rise than the rest of their line-up, with a comfortable top block and a gentle taper to the leg. The leg opening will sit nicely over a pair of boots, but won’t swallow up your favorite sneakers. Gunpowder is not just a cool name that Indigofera settled on for their black denim – it’s actually descriptive, as the dye used for the black warp/black weft fabric contains actual gunpowder, helping to give the color both a deep blackness and a little sheen. Custom developed with and produced exclusively for Indigofera by Nihon Menpu Mills in Japan, this all-black denim will fade to gray over time, in the same way that indigo denim does but in grayscale, growing much softer with wear and washing.  The trims are equally superior, with custom Indigofera donut buttons and copper riveting at high stress points.
