When John Lofgren sets out to build a pair of boots, he builds the most comfortable, highest quality boot he can. All of the work is done in Japan from start to finish, using the best leathers from around the world, Vibram soles, and John's own custom lasts. The Lofgren Combat boot is their take on the classic perforated cap-toe military boot, an iconically handsome boot that doesn't sacrifice sturdiness or durability. Standing at 6" tall, with a classic combination of 4 (polished nickel) eyelets and 3 matching speed hooks, they're built on the sleek Vibram 705 full sole (with matching Vibram 700 heel) - one of our favorite outsoles for its low profile and surprising blend of traction & durability. Chromexcel cowhide is an extremely sturdy and handsome leather that only gets better and better with time.
