All the classic details are there, from the twin pull-tabs to the extended vamp, brought together by multiple rows of exacting stitchwork around a fully custom last.  These are sewn up in Timber brown horsebutt from the Shinki Tannery in Japan, one of the premier horsehide tanneries in the world. This remarkable leather features a glossy finish and a gorgeous grain texture that ranges from subtle to incredibly prominent. Unlike cowhide, horsebutt tends to roll rather than crease over time, giving them a more subtle and graceful aging process. They stand on Vibram's #269 "Western" outsole and #700 heel, a great combination for comfort
