Mike Force Cap - Black Wool

Born from a mix of vintage sensibilities, practical need & the sort of madness it takes to want to produce anything the right way - Papa Nui makes some damn fine hats. Manufactured in Japan with the highest attention to detail and quality, with personality and a deliberate story behind each piece. Based on a American field cap from the 1950s, the Mike Force Cap is a sort of historical what-if, bearing the imaginary insignia of a special forces unit that never existed. As Papa Nui tells it, these hats were made custom for search-and-destroy counter-insurgency units during the Vietnam war. Since that's not true, these hats don't carry any historical baggage, and are just cool looking, which is also nice. It's made from a 100% pure melton wool body, with cotton tape trims and a custom hand-machined patch on the front.
