The Modesto Jacket is Freenote's take on a western-style chore coat, with a voluminous body and four roomy front pockets. It's cut with a camp collar that can button closed for a more secure fit, with full sleeves and all-brass hardware. It's a fantastic layering piece, with heavy duty construction and a relaxed fit that you can throw on without needing to worry. It's made from Freenote's "Memphis Blue" 11oz Japanese denim, woven with a classic indigo/white color combo and a finished with a rinse for extra softness. The fabric is sanforized, and and extra soft thanks to the rinse — so minimal shrinkage is expected with a cold wash and hang dry, and you should take your usual size. Fits true to size.
