PARKA, FIELD, COTTON, OD

This particular garment is a reproduction of a U.S. Army parka from World War II. The official name is, in fact, "Parka, Field, Cotton, O.D.", breaking out of the usual numbering system. These are rarely seen, which makes this a very special release. The fabric is the heavy cotton sateen used in The Real McCoy's M-1951, M-65. It's a better-than-the-original custom fabric, that retains all the character of the vintage pieces without compromising the quality that The Real McCoy's are known for. This fabric wears in amazingly, and if you give it a wash and quick dry, really takes on a vintage appearance. All of the trims are custom-made for The Real Coy's as well, including the urea buttons, and drawcords.
