From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations. This heavy mid layer is somewhere between a CPO and a workshirt, with western acorn pocket flaps and real horn buttons. The fit is relaxed through the body, not oversized and not snug, good for wearing over a tee or another light-to-medium knit, and still comfortable underneath a larger jacket or vest. It's got two covered chest pockets for storage, a flat hem, and a classic collar, with buttons at the wrist and cuff for adjusting the sleeves. It's made from a custom two-tone indigo stripe fabric with sashiko cross-stitching throughout.
