X-1 Crew Cap - Supersonic Orange Cotton
Born from a mix of vintage sensibilities, practical need & the sort of madness it takes to want to produce anything the right way - Papa Nui makes some damn fine hats. Manufactured in Japan with the highest attention to detail and quality, with personality and a deliberate story behind each piece. The Bell X-1 Rocket Jet was the first manned airplane to ever break the sound barrier, piloted by the legendary Captain Charles "Chuck" Yeager", and featured a screaming "supersonic orange" paint job. The X-1 Crew Cap is based on the classic A-3 silhouette, with a vibrant orange cotton body, herringbone trims, and a completely custom X-1 patch on the left side of the crown. Cut with a comfortable crown and a very agreeable medium-length brim that can be easily bent or adjusted. Custom labels and an embroidered Hino Maru patch can be found inside, the marks of a genuine Papa Nui Hat. 100% cotton Orange cotton exterior HBT internal trims 6 panel cap Medium length soft brim Custom X-1 ex
