A traditional pair of 19th-century country French provincial praying chairs sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak wood featuring prie-dieu profile with ladder back crowned with a carved, flat top. The wood showcases a naturally aged rustic patina with a warm brown color. The chairs come with intact hand-weaved rush seats. The seats are raised on carved provincial legs with stretchers. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a lovely aged patina on the wood with a Traditional French country profile. - Origin: Provence, France - Dimensions: 16" x D 14.5" x H 37.25" - seat height 15"  - Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use.
