French Parisian Louis XV Style Daybed in Green Velvet Damask

Luxurious mid-20th century French daybed made in the Louis XV style by Tréca Paris, a distinguished French maker of high-end beds and mattresses founded in 1935 in the Alsace region. Constructed from solid wood, it features gracefully curved chapeau de gendarme arms clean-finished with antique brass nailhead trim for a refined silhouette. The frame has been restored and retains its original hand-cut green velvet damask. Includes five pillows. Raised on hand-carved oak cabriole legs ending in classic scroll toes, the piece reflects the refined elegance of the Louis XV era. The legs have been newly refinished to reveal a rich dark brown tone that enhances the natural grain and depth of the aged wood.
