Compatible with all model years, also compatible with BMW i8 Roadster.  This is not a stand-alone device. Must be connected to and controlled by a GPS tracker,  immobilizer,  breathalyzer,  car security system or similar, with positive or negative output trigger. It will prevent the vehicle from starting once triggered. Applications include: fleet management, rental car, anti-theft, etc. The device's wire colors match the color of the corresponding wires in the vehicle.
