Founded in 2015 by in New York City by Hannah Turner, Wax & Wane candles originally was a way for Hannah to pay homage to her beloved home of the Pacific Northwest during a particularly harsh winter. Although we've moved back to Oregon, all of our scents are still carefully curated and inspired by the great outdoors. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:Years ago, after traveling to Marfa, Texas and watching the desert come alive after a huge thunderstorm, the smell of the desert plants and evergreen trees combined with the burning copal became Hannah's obsession and finally, (3 years and many many copal oils later) she's found the perfect combination. With top notes of burning copal combined with succulents, Siberian fir, cashmere musk and the rich undertones of Cyprus and Spanish moss.
