About the album: "All the lyrics of the songs are based on some difficult and challenging times in my life during the writing period. Themes having to do with self worth, finding purpose, feeling unable to contribute to society, unlearning learned helplessness, and taking life as it comes. But I wrote the lyrics firmly yet vaguely with the intention for the listener to find their own meaning and apply it to their life or experiences in the way we see fit.
