Upset Boy and The Queens: Silver Dreamer: CD EP

Limited Edition CD "Silver Dreamer is the sound of a band clawing its way out of the womb - loose, loud, and mostly just hoping we don’t trip over our own feet," says guitarist/vocalist Chris Watts. "I started Upset Boy and the Queens with bassist Lulu Jones in 2024 and these songs were the first musical ideas we fleshed out to see what we sound like. It’s also a snapshot of desperation, burnout, and starting over, both thematically and literally. "During the writing and recording of these songs I developed nodules and hemorrhaging on my vocal cords from gigging full-time in downtown Nashville. I had to quit singing for seven months. I think it’s all there, and I think it’s beautiful. We weren’t chasing a sound, we were just trying to survive long enough to make one."
