It is dedicated to the memory of Eleasha “Ele” Sledge, who departed this life September 23rd, 2020. She was loved by so many, but especially her beautiful family for which we are eternally grateful for their generosity in sharing her light with all of us. This blend in particular consists of ingredients that Ele and I had discussed prior to her passing, as something that could be a signature offering to her clients. She loved ginger, so I suggested a ginger-y chai; At the time her hair was a beautiful denim blue. I half-jokingly suggested that we make the tea blue, like her hair.
