Handsewn Book, Friendship
This hand-sewn book is made on Martha's Vineyard by local author and artist Ingrid Goff-Maidoff. The first page is signed by the author in golden ink. A genuine human connection can feel divine ~ as if it were a gift from the heavens, though it be as fundamental as bread, flowers, coffee, salt. This little quote book is a celebration of the joys and the comforts of friendship. Here are words of wisdom, gratitude and awe ~ each with the shared understanding that the gifts of friendship, of being and having a friend, are among life’s greatest blessings. 40 pages, 3 by 4 1/2 inches, Japanese paper covers, and sewn with assorted threads.
