Reclaimed from a deconstructed 100+ year old bridge in Eurika California, this wood is full of history and meaning. A rich brown in color, this rare wood acquires its resonance from its light density.  Our Native American style F flutes have a full and low voice. They are made in a 1 inch bore diameter which is larger around than our A, G, and F# flutes. They are also longer at 23 ½ inches and have a finger hole spacing that is more difficult to reach than our higher pitched flutes. That makes this key of flute better suited for someone who has some prior flute playing experience.
