Redwood Native American Style F Sharp Flute
This flute is made from a very special piece of redwood. The wood was repurposed from a 100 year old bridge that was deconstructed. The wood itself must have been from a very old tree when the bridge was made because the grain is much more dense that other redwood we have worked with. It is a softwood which lends a wonderful resonance to the voice of the flute. Care must be taken not to dent the flute. Flutes in the key of F sharp (F#) are a wonderful choice for people with larger hands, or people with some flute playing experience already. If you already have a key of G flute, this would be a great next step in advancing your flute playing to a lower key. The finger hole stretch is larger than on the key of G and the overall length of the flute is longer. The F# flute has a lower voice than the key of G .
