Dunkleosteus - Skull Fossil Fragment

First discovered embedded in the Cleveland Shale of Ohio, the Dunkleosteus is a fossil that still looks as terrifying as it did in life over 350 million years ago. The fish was adorned with tough plate armor and equipped with bony blades for shredding its prey to pieces. Even now, this skeletal armor is quite the sight. This specimen is a piece of a 358,000,000-year-old Dunkleosteus fossil skull from Morocco's Famennian strata. First appearing in the Fifth Edition, we're excited to debut Dunkleosteus as a solo specimen!
